Getting Started
How do I add my first link?
From your dashboard, click "Add Link" and paste the affiliate URL you want to monitor. Friskylink begins checking it immediately.
Can I import links from a spreadsheet?
Yes. On the Pro plan, you can upload a CSV file to add multiple links at once. Go to Links and select "Import" to get started.
How do I scan a page for affiliate links?
Go to Links, select "Scan," and enter the URL of the page you want to check. Friskylink will find affiliate links on that page and let you choose which ones to monitor.
What happens during the 14-day trial?
You get full access to all Pro features, including 1500 monitored links, 4-hour check intervals, and 90-day history retention. No credit card required.
Account & Billing
How do I upgrade my plan?
Go to Settings, then Billing. Select the plan you want and follow the checkout process. Upgrades take effect immediately.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings, then Billing. You can downgrade to the Free plan at any time. Your paid features remain active until the end of your current billing period.
How do I change my email or password?
Go to Settings to update your profile information, email address, or password.
What happens to my links if I downgrade?
Links beyond the Free plan limit (25 links) are paused but not deleted. If you upgrade again, all links are restored and monitoring resumes.
Link Monitoring
How often are my links checked?
Check frequency depends on your plan. Free plans check every 24 hours. Pro plans check every 4 hours.
What does Friskylink check for?
Friskylink follows the full redirect chain of each link and validates the final destination. It detects broken links (HTTP errors), changed redirects, expired domains, and unreachable pages.
Will monitoring slow down my website?
No. Friskylink checks links from its own servers. Your website is not affected in any way.
How do I get notified about issues?
You receive email alerts and in-app notifications when a link breaks. You can configure notification preferences in Settings.
Troubleshooting
A link shows as broken but works when I click it
Some sites block automated requests or serve different content to bots. Check the link details in your dashboard for the specific error. If the issue persists, contact support.
I am not receiving email alerts
Check your notification settings in Settings. Also verify that emails from Friskylink are not being filtered to spam. If the problem continues, contact support@friskylink.com.
My CSV import failed
Make sure your file is in CSV format with one URL per row. URLs must include the full address (starting with http:// or https://). Check for extra spaces or special characters.
I reached my link limit
The Free plan supports 25 monitored links. Upgrade to Pro for up to 1500 links. You can remove existing links or upgrade your plan to add more.
